Koninklijke Metaalunie
NPS works in close cooperation with employers associations, both national and European. In the Netherlands, we are also affiliated to the Koninklijke Metaalunie. The NPS also works in cooperation with organisations and institutions in the fields of research, training and legislation. This guarantees the NPS early access to the latest information about Dutch and European legislation and regulations. These contacts also form an excellent means for the NPS to represent the interests of its members.
Metaalunie has more than 13,000 members, making it the largest entrepreneurs’ organisation for small to medium-sized companies in the metal industry. It focuses on metalworking companies with up to approximately 100 employees within a wide range of sectors, including:
Fachverband Deutscher Präzisions- Werkzeugschleifer
The Fachverband Deutscher Präzisions- Werkzeugschleifer (FDPW) is the trade association for companies in Germany and neighboring countries, which machining and cutting tools and industrial knife grinding produce and distribute. Similarly, the Association is open to other grinding technologies, such as the round, flat, profile and centerless grinding, provided that such a connection with the grinding tool or tools and knives are available. The FDPW covers the craft of mechanic cutting tools.
